Giardiniello, our signature fragrance oil, captures the essence of a golden afternoon on a garden terrace along the Amalfi Coast: fresh lemons growing overhead, jasmine blooming on sun-warmed walls.
Directions: Slide open the matchbox drawer to reveal the diffusion stone nestled inside. Add a few drops of the concentrated oil to its surface, keep the drawer open, and allow the oil to soak into the stone. It will then gently release the scent into your space throughout the day.

Giardiniello, our signature scent, is an invitation to savour a sun-drenched afternoon on the Amalfi Coast. An enchanting garden terrace tucked along the Italian mountainside, filled with the delicious scent of fresh lemons growing overhead and jasmine cascading down the villa walls. A peaceful yet vibrant haven where summer sparkles.

Nestled Inside the matchbox drawer is a naturally porous diffusion stone. Add a few drops of a Gallia Rae fragrance oil onto the surface and allow to soak into the stone. The scent will naturally delicately diffuse across the room. Top up as weekly or as often as desired. No flame, no heat, no fuss.
Note: The drawer must be open for the fragrance to diffuse. To stop diffusion, simply close the drawer.
A 15ml bottle of Gallia Rae fragrance oil typically lasts around 3–4 months. On first use, add 10–12 drops of oil to saturate the stone. Then reapply 3–5 drops weekly, or as desired, to maintain fragrance. For larger spaces or stronger scent, you may wish to use additional oil or a second diffuser.
Yes, your Pietrina Diffuser is designed to last forever. You can purchase additional bottles of Giardiniello fragrance oil separately when needed. We recommend using the Diffusion Stone only with one fragrance oil, as the stone will retain some of the scent. To use a different fragrance, you will need a new stone to avoid blending scents. We will be releasing new fragrance oils soon, which can be used with your original matchbox or paired with a new design
The Pietrina Diffuser is perfectly suited to smaller spaces as it offers a more delicate method of scent diffusion. It also works beautifully in places where you are in close contact, such as a bedside table or desk. For enhanced diffusion, place the diffuser near a doorway or in an area you walk past often, allowing the fragrance to waft gently as you move.
Yes, the Matchbox, Diffusion Stone, and fragrance oils are all available to purchase individually. When purchased together as the Pietrina Set, you save £12 compared to buying each piece separately.
