The stone is designed to be used with a Gallia Rae Home Fragrance Oil. On first use, ensure the stone is inside the open matchbox drawer and add 10–12 drops of the oil evenly across the surface of the stone. Reapply 3–5 drops weekly, or as desired, to maintain the scent.
Unlike a reed diffuser, there is no need to turn or flip the Pietrina Diffusion Stone. Simply add fragrance oil to the top surface, and it will naturally absorb and release the scent into the air. Flipping the stone will not affect diffusion, so we recommend leaving it in place. However, it is fully finished on both sides, so you can flip and use the other side if you wish.
If using a Gallia Rae fragrance oil, which has been specifically designed for effective diffusion with a Pietrina Stone, a 15ml bottle typically lasts around 3–4 months. The scent diffusion is continuous but we recommend reapplying 3–5 drops weekly, or as desired, to maintain fragrance. For larger spaces or stronger scent, you may wish to use additional oil or a second diffuser.
Yes, your Pietrina Diffusion Stone is designed to last forever. We recommend using the Diffusion Stone only with one fragrance, as the stone will retain some of the scent. To use a different fragrance, you will need a new stone - this avoids blending scents.
The Pietrina Diffusion Stone measures 8 x 2 x 1.5 cm, nestling neatly inside the matchbox while allowing for easy removal.
