Yes. Choose the option “Add striker strip + £2” and your Matchbox will arrive with a striker strip applied, allowing you to store and light matches directly from the box. The striker strip can be peeled off and removed if you later prefer to use it as a trinket box.
No. Matches are not included and are not sold by Gallia Rae.

Simply wipe your Matchbox with a soft, damp cloth when needed. Avoid harsh abrasives and do not put it in the dishwasher. As with all ceramics, handle with care to preserve its handcrafted finish.
Yes. The Matchbox was originally designed to house our Pietrina Diffusion Stone and can be transformed into a Pietrina Diffuser by adding the stone and your choice of Gallia Rae fragrance oil. You can also purchase the complete limited edition Buon Natale Pietrina Diffuser Set.
No. When purchased on its own, The Matchbox does not include a Pietrina Diffusion Stone or fragrance oil. The stone is available separately, or both the stone and fragrance oil are included when you choose the complete Pietrina Diffuser Set.

Giardiniello, our signature scent, captures the golden warmth and romance of an endless Italian summer. An enchanting citrus white floral with notes of Sicilian lemon zest, Calabrian bergamot rind, jasmine, honey, amber, and vanilla. It's an ode to the art of dolce far niente — the sweetness of doing nothing — and an invitation to savour the deliciousness in everyday moments.
Fioranciella is a delicate bouquet of orange blossom, petitgrain and neroli, wrapped in Madagascan vanilla, white musk and soft patchouli — an homage to the traditional Neapolitan pastiera. It is the distinctive balance of floral, citrusy and softly refreshing notes defines Fioranciella. Not overly sweet, but warm, luminous and comforting, reminiscent of a Neapolitan kitchen in spring.
Latte di Luna is a velvety blend of warm, honeyed milk and almond, gently infused with white musk, creamy vanilla and a soft twist of sweet lemon. As comforting now as it was in childhood, Latte di Luna is the warm milk with honey before bed that settles you into a restful night’s sleep, reimagined through the golden softness of evenings along the Amalfi Coast.
